The last craftsmen

In partnership with :

Many aspects which make Morocco, Morocco–the traditions, the crafts, the storytelling– are within a generation away of disappearing. The last craftsmen is a short documentary series telling the stories of a blacksmith from Rahala, a potter from Safi, and a storyteller from Beni Mellal who’ve found themselves at the journey’s end of a long lineage of tradition, with no one to pass their knowledge on to.  All three of them, and the know-how they possess, have never been recorded before.

This serie was developed in partnership with NET-MED Youth, a project implemented by UNESCO and funded by the European Union
