This privacy policy defines and informs visitors how MAROCOPEDIA uses and protects the information transmitted to them and, more particularly, but without being exclusive, when the visitor uses this site accessible via the link next: www.marocopedia.com, hereinafter the “site”.

This Privacy Policy may be amended or supplemented at any time by MAROCOPEDIA, in particular to comply with any legislative, regulatory, jurisprudential or technological developments. In such a case, the date of its update will be clearly identified at the beginning of this policy. These changes engage the visitor as soon as it is posted. The visitor is therefore invited to regularly consult this privacy policy, as well as the rules on the use of cookies to learn about any changes.

I. PERSONAL DATA

 In general, it is possible to visit the site without communicating any personal information. In any case, the visitor is not, in any way, obliged to transmit this information to MAROCOPEDIA.

However, in certain situations of non-transmission of information, it is possible that the visitor can not benefit from the services requested. Indeed, in order to benefit the visitor from the services offered by MAROCOPEDIA, the latter may be required, in certain cases, to ask you to enter your name, first name, addresses (e-mail), hereinafter “personal information” .  Marocopedia collects the following personal data: language of use – country of connection – name – first name – e-mail address – internet browser used – browsing mode used (PC or mobile).

3. Purposes of the treatment

 MAROCOPEDIA may process the personal information transmitted for the following purposes:

Provide the information or services requested by the user and adapted to it, and more particularly: the sending of the MAROCOPEDIA newsletter; statistics of physical visits and site visits; transmit the various communication announcing the novelties of MAROCOPEDIA; collect information enabling MAROCOPEDIA to improve the site, the products and services (in particular by means of cookies); allow the visitor to access the MAROCOPEDIA website in the best possible conditions;

to contact the visitor about various news related to MAROCOPEDIA; manage the activities of MAROCOPEDIA with regard to its legal obligations and compliance with its obligations imposed by the administrative authorities.

4. Recipients

Only MAROCOPEDIA is recipient of the personal information communicated.

These, whether in individual form or anonymized, can be passed on to the subcontractors and partners that MAROCOPEDIA uses.

MAROCOPEDIA explicitly requests the visitor’s consent for the transmission of personal information communicated to its partners in connection with the purpose of Artronome.

Neither MAROCOPEDIA, Ni Artronome, nor any of its subcontractors or partners, sell the personal data of visitors to the site.

In view of the foregoing, MAROCOPEDIA informs the visitor that his data are transmitted to Google Analytics, via cookies, as listed below;

5. Shelf life

The personal information is kept by MAROCOPEDIA only for the time corresponding to the purposes of the collection as mentioned above. In any case, the data retention will not exceed 10 years after the last booking of an event by the visitor.

6. Visitor’s rights

The visitor has the following rights, in accordance with the above-mentioned international regulations:

  • Right of access and communication of data

The visitor has the right to access and to consult the personal data which concern him, preserved by MAROCOPEDIA. The visitor can also see how MAROCOPEDIA obtained them and the people to whom they are communicated.

Given the obligation of security and confidentiality in the processing of personal data which is the responsibility of MAROCOPEDIA, the request for access and consultation of the data formulated by the visitor will be treated subject to address the proof of identity including the production of an electronic or paper copy (accompanied by a signature) of his identity card during his period of validity. The request is, in any case, free for the visitor.

In any case, the request for cancellation may be refused by MAROCOPEDIA if the request is necessary for the exercise or defense of rights in court or for the fulfillment of a legal or contractual obligation in the name of MAROCOPEDIA.

  • Right to data portability

The visitor may request that his / her personal data be transmitted to a manager identical to MAROCOPEDIA. The visitor can, therefore, ask MAROCOPEDIA that the data is transmitted to him in a structured format, commonly used and readable by machine.

7. Response time

Only MAROCOPEDIA staff members and administrators are authorized to consult personal data, with the exception of the application of point 3 above.
