Marocopedia is the manifestation of a shared passion for Moroccan culture and traditions. The motivation to digitilize each cultural artifact and idiosyncrasy meets two priorities: to present the prestigious civilizational heritage of Morocco to the World, and to transmit the collective memories of an underexposed and underrepresented Morocco to future generations.
We bring together Moroccan stories, from the least known to the most popular, by respecting the precious testimonies that recur throughout our oral history.
Our mission is to meet women and men, custodians of the past, to collect, film, edit and share with you this centuries old heritage.
We want to invite you to virtually discover and explore a new interpretation of a very old country. Get to know faces you’ve never seen before, discover places where you’ve never been, learn about the customs and traditions of yesterday and today, and proudly bear the membership of a plural and multicultural society.
