Description Scientifique
It's a Major Moroccan City on the South-West of the Moroccan Coast, located on the shore of the Atlantic Ocean, near the foot of the Atlas Mountains, just north of the point where the Sous River flows into the ocean.\r

The Capital of Souss-Massa (or ''Masst'' in local tamazight) region and Agadir-Ida Ou Tanan province.\r
A city with an Amazigh majority inhabitance, known worldwide by its warm weather that attracts tourists.\r

The name ''Agadir'' - ''ⴰⴳⴰⴷⵉⵔ'' (tifinagh) means: the castle or the wall in tamazight (berber) which is the language of most of its population.\r

By 1960, February 29th, Agadir has knew an earthquake of magnitude 5.7 on the Richter scale that lasted 15 seconds, which caused in killing third of its population (estimated on 15.000) and destroying the Ancient Kasbah . A revival rebuilding project was then proceeded by the architects Jean-François Zevaco, Elijah Azagury, Pierre Coldefy, and Claude Verdugo under the orders of King Muhammad V of Morocco back then who declared when seeing the earthquake damage : "If Destiny decided the destruction of Agadir, its rebuilding depends on our Faith and Will.\"
