Women’s breakfast is a Sahrawi tradition where women gather in the morning to share their breakfast which usually contains liver, camel meat and Sahrawi tea. The group of women has to belong to the same tribe in order to create an atmosphere of intimacy and constant communication. The women organize this event in a way that each of them hosts the breakfast in her house or tent throughout the week. The tradition dates back to the old days and the Saharawi women are still holding to it because of its valuable psychological and social effect on their lives. It’s an important occasion for them to exchange news and discuss women's affairs as well as entertain themselves.
