Description Scientifique
Dayet Ifrah is located within the National Park of Ifrane , a distance of 30 Km separates the lake from the city of Ifrane. It is one of the largest lakes in the region, with an estimated area of 250 ha and 8m of depth . This lake is essentially supplied by groundwater, runoff and snowmelt. The aquatic flora consists mainly of Ranunculus millifoliatus, Potamogeton pectinatus and Tolypella hispanica. Plus, a cover of Oak trees that surrounds the lake edges. As for its fauna , the lake is very diverse containing invertebrate fauna in addition to tree major fish species such as tench, common carp and pike.
