Description Scientifique
Mohamed Leftah, born in Settat in 1946 , is considered one of the well known Moroccan authors. He went to school in Casablanca and after he finished his high school education, he decided to enrol in a French school of engineers of public works in Paris. That’s why Leftah is recognized to have this unique combination of having a scientific orientation nonetheless a brilliant style of writing literature. His most famous work is his posthumous book : « Le dernier combat du capitaine Ni’mat » ( the last combat of captain Ni’mat) which was nominated to be The best book of the year 2011 by The Literary Prize of the Mamounia. The same book is censored in the Moroccan libraries . In 2000, Leftah moved to Egypt where he lived until he died in 2008.
